The images below show the bike with the fairings removed. Key parts (the bits you are most likely to need to know the whereabouts of) are numbered, and correspond to the table on each enlarged image. Each image is of very high resolution (1600x1200) for clarity. Consequently they may take awhile to load on slower connections. For details on removing the fairing panels and carrying out basic tasks, see the ‘Maintaining an NC30' section. The motorcycle was not designed to be ridden with the fairings removed. Doing so will expose vulnerable cabling to the elements, as well as leaving the motorcycle less aerodynamically sound.

The table on the following page gives the majority of specifications for the NC30, as published by Honda in the official workshop manual. Please note these specifications are for the NC30 only. Although some figures may be common with other VFR400 models, no direct parity can be guaranteed. Values for the RVF400 also differ slightly. (Next Page)
